Landscape design - Rainwater Harvesting
-Installation

Embody the practice of earth care with thoughtful, creative and personalized sacred spaces

A landscape can do more than just look good

(But we do that too)

A well-designed landscape should be a treat for your senses - and - capture rainwater, create shade, support wildlife, help plants thrive, reduce flooding and erosion, and make being outside more comfortable and pleasurable.

Holy Water Earthworks approaches each landscape as an interconnected system - considering how you use and move through your space, how water travels, and how plants, soil, shade, and built elements can work together.

The result is a landscape that’s beautiful, functional, and best adapted to life in the Sonoran Desert.

Water flow +
people flow

Every property (and property owner / steward!) has their own particular patterns. How rain, water, friends, pets, and the sun move across your space, where you prefer to drink your coffee in the morning, where your friends gather at sunset - and what plants and trees would best fit your unique space.

Good landscape design brings those systems together. Great landscape design adds ritual, renewal and communion!

Instead of treating drainage, planting, irrigation, hardscape, and aesthetics as separate ‘problems’, Holy Water Earthworks look for ways they can work together - as sustainable solutions and the beginnings of your joy-filled, well loved & tended landscape.

From idea
to installation

Creating a landscape can involve designers, irrigation specialists, planting crews, earthworkers, masons, concrete contractors, and other trades. You shouldn’t have to figure all of that out yourself.

Holy Water Earthworks can manage your project from design through installation, coordinating trusted local contractors and specialists, communicating throughout the process, and helping ensure that the pieces come together as intended.

For specialized work outside our scope, we can also help connect you with experienced local professionals.
